The visit is part of the Innovation Tours, which are carried out by the association 22@NETWORK BCN
Last May 30, the management team of Vanderbit University (Nashville, Tennessee) visited the 22@ district. The delegation, composed of the Chancellor, the Chief of Staff, the Vice Chancellor for Administration and the Director of Real Estate, came to Barcelona on the occasion of an Innovation Tour. They came to learn about the history of district 22@ and its particularities, as well as how this model could be applied to another city.
Isabel Sabadí, director of 22@Network BCN, presented them the 22@NETWORK BCN association, the evolution of the district and the different stages it has gone through to become what it is today. Afterwards, Xavier Mayó, Head of International City Promotion, presented the 22@PROJECT. The delegation was then received by Alberto Moleiro, Innovation Ideation & Co-Creation of T-Systems, who presented them the Big Picture of the 22@. Finally, they ended their visit with an urban planning tour, presented by Jordi Paris, expert architect in the field. He showed them Ca l'Alier and explained the general history of the district's architecture.
