On April 17th, we welcomed the MTC Group (MoreThan Capital) to Barcelona for a session hosted by 22@Network Barcelona!

The visit began with a welcome and introduction by Isabel Sabadí, CEO of 22@Network Barcelona, who presented the 22@ Innovation District ecosystem and the role of the association. This was followed by Will Moore, Principal at MoreThan Capital, who introduced the vision and activity of the global investment firm.

The session brought together international investors and leaders from across Europe, the US, and Asia to connect with some of the most promising startups driving innovation in health, AI, retail, and sustainability.

Startup presentations included:

- Daniel Esteban-Ferrer, CEO & Founder of VRAIn (VR and AI solutions for digital health) 

- Esther Lizano, Co-Founder & Scientific Advisor at Flomics (AI-powered blood-based diagnostics)

- Pau Agullo, CEO & Co-Founder of Shoptimus AI (retail optimization through AI) 

- Jordi Turmo, CEO & Co-Founder of Footprint MAPPA (data-driven environmental impact management) 

The event concluded with an open discussion and a tour of the district, strengthening connections between global investors and the local innovation ecosystem.
