22@Talent Masterclass : Talent potential of the third sector

Alessia Bascucci,

Last September 25, the Talent Committee, led by Iolanda Triviño, met in the space of our partners TBS Education - Barcelona to discuss and deepen the generation of jobs and opportunities in the third sector.

On this occasion, Virginia Seoane, head of Project Development in Catalonia at the GoodJob Foundation, explained how they offer a training program for people with disabilities, with the aim of facilitating their insertion into the labor market. This program consists of a first phase that lasts 6 to 8 weeks, during which the basic skills necessary to meet the requirements of the workplace are provided. Once this phase is completed, the participants start their work activity while continuing to learn.

On the other hand, Natàlia Valenzuela, Director of the IRES Foundation, has highlighted the fundamental importance of providing psychological support to people who have suffered any type of violence, in addition to focusing on the talent that is being lost if not it works with groups of young people, women and those over 45. For this reason, the Efecte Talent campaign was launched with the ODS Commission.

Finally, Noemí Rojas Puche, People & Talent Catalonia at Inetum, as head of talent at a large technology company explained the importance of having different profiles within the organization. He also highlighted how the company works with various entities for the employment inclusion of different vulnerable groups.

In the conclusions of the session, it was highlighted how it is necessary to work little by little to raise awareness among both the human resources managers and the management teams to bet on this talent who at some point in his life has been removed from the work cycle.
