22@NETWORK BCN once again participated in this year's edition of BNEW-Real Estate. Last October 5 at 12:00 p.m. the presentation "22@Innovation District: From Urban planning to the management of the innovation ecosystem" took place at the DFactory starring several members of the district association. 

The speakers were Miquel Barceló, president of Innopro and member of the Advisory Council of 22@Network BCN, Javier Bernades, international partner, director of offices Spain Cushman & Wakefield and president of the Planning Commission of 22@Network BCN and Antoni Paz, Executive Director of the Knowledge Market Foundation and President of the Innovation and Industry Commission of the association, with the moderation of debate by Isabel Sabadí, director of 22@Network BCN. 

The event consisted of a tour past, present and future of 22@ and in the explanation of how it has transformed from an industrial area to an innovation ecosystem with very positive growth prospects. In addition to generating a debate about why and how the innovation district has become a pole of investment and talent. 

In first, it was analyzed how "Urban Planning" has influenced the generation of the innovation ecosystem and how it has taken a step beyond urban planning in the design of the 22@ to achieve a greater impact economic in the district and the city of Barcelona. 

Next, there was a debate about why and what were the basic elements for such a big bet for the transformation of the district in 2000. There was also talk about this year's celebration of 22 years of 22@ and finally, what the future of the district will be.
