WOMEN IN VALUE CYCLE: THE MOBILITY SECTOR WITH A GENDER PERSPECTIVE

On February 23 at 12:30 pm, we will celebrate the first Women in Value Cycle of 2021. We start the cycle with a colloquium focused on the mobility sector with a gender perspective, with two professionals of the sector: Juliana Vilert, Director of organization and people of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), and Raquel Diaz, Head of Social Responsibility, Women and Diversity at TMB. The debate will be moderated by Susana Prado, President of the Women in Courage Commission.

The WOMEN IN VALUE CYCLE consists of four colloquiums focused on professional contents and with female protagonists to make visible the large number of women in managerial, intermediate and specialized technical positions in companies and institutions of the district, but also to give an opportunity to the protagonists to explain the difficulties encountered and the characteristics of their personal glass ceiling.


During this first CYCLE of the year, we will have the participation of:

Juliana Vilert, Director of organization and people of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), is a psychologist with a master's degree in "Senior Executive Management" from the School of Public Administration of Catalonia and other specialized studies on human behavior. She has held several positions in the public administration sector, in psychology and human resources management. She has also been the president of the Human Factor Foundation and is now a member of the Board of Trustees. She is chair of the Railway Human Resources Commission of the Association of Urban Collective Transport (ATUC) and chair of the BHRM Committee WG in Capacity Building of UITP. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Women, Business and Economy Observatory of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and vice-president of the 50a50 Association, which aims to achieve parity in decision-making positions. She is vice-president of the Board of Trustees of the Instituto de Educación Continua foundation. She is a member or advisor to several regional and national foundations and working bodies in the areas of management, human resources, research, public administration and social action.

Raquel Díaz is Head of Social Responsibility, Women and Diversity at TMB, with a degree in law and a master's degree in sports law from the UB and a master's degree in disability, personal autonomy and dependency care from the UIMP. Blind woman, mother of two children, disability activist and convinced that human diversity is social wealth and global growth. Former Paralympic athlete, with participation in the Paralympic Games of Barcelona-92, Atlanta-96 and Sydney-2000, being world champion in the 100 meters. She faces the challenge of promoting female talent in a highly masculinized sector.
