We are pleased to announce that the next meeting of the Commission of Creativity, Design and Culture of 22@Network Barcelona will include a very special visit to the IAAC – Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia.
The IAAC is an international reference center for research, training and innovation in advanced architecture. It works from an interdisciplinary and technological perspective to address the challenges of our urban, social and ecological environment. It houses leading laboratories such as the Fab Lab Barcelona, a pioneer in digital fabrication and 3D printing, and programs that explore the relationship between the city, architecture, sustainability and technological innovation.
During the visit, we will discover how bioarchitecture projects are developed, robotics applied to construction, 3D printing on an urban scale and many other initiatives that position the center as a future hub for architects, designers and creators.
This will be an opportunity to get to know the work done at the IAAC up close, establish links with its team and be inspired by its methodologies and leading projects.
