Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Jiangsu, China, to the 22@ Innovation District, with representatives from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Changzhou College of Information Technology.

The visit took place at Smart the House, where we introduced the delegation to the transformation of 22@ from its industrial origins into an innovation district where companies, universities, research centres, institutions and talent coexist and collaborate.

The session also provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on innovation, urban transformation and public-private collaboration. The delegation was particularly interested in understanding the role of Barcelona City Council and the public sector in the development of the district, as well as how urban planning and public initiatives have contributed to shaping the 22@ ecosystem.

The delegation was welcomed by Isabel Sabadí, General Manager of 22@Network Barcelona, then we shared insights into the evolution of the district and the role of 22@Network Barcelona in connecting its different stakeholders.
