On November 19, a United States institutional delegation visited Barcelona’s 22@ district to learn about its urban regeneration model, recognized globally for transforming industrial areas into innovation ecosystems.
During the tour, led by Isabel Sabadí, Director of 22@Network Barcelona, the delegation explored how 22@ has combined sustainability, technology, and public-private collaboration to attract tech companies, startups, universities, and research centers.
They visited emblematic sites such as the Media-TIC building and revitalized public spaces, expressing interest in adapting aspects of Barcelona's model to urban projects in the United States.
This visit reaffirmed Barcelona’s leadership in sustainable urban development and fostered an exchange of ideas to tackle global urban planning challenges.

Yesterday, on January 19, we had the pleasure of organizing an inspiring visit for a group of master’s level students from France to Eurecat, one of the leading technology and innovation hubs in Catalonia. The students were visiting GBSB Global Business School Global for a bootcamp on Operations and Supply Chain Managemen.
Marta Pla, Event Project Manager at Eurecat, welcomed the students and gave them an interesting and insightful presentation about the company and its role in the technology ecosystem.

Ayer tuvimos el placer de recibir en el 22@ a una delegación de Business France, la agencia pública francesa encargada de impulsar la internacionalización de las empresas francesas y la atracción de inversión extranjera.
Durante la jornada, presentamos el distrito 22@ como ecosistema de innovación y talento, así como la labor de la asociación 22@Network Barcelona en la conexión entre empresas, instituciones y agentes clave de las nuevas tecnologías. Fue una excelente oportunidad para compartir experiencias, conocer de cerca el modelo del distrito y explorar posibles sinergias en ámbitos como la transformación digital y la innovación.
