Today, June 27, a new 22@Breakfast has been celebrated, this time at the headquarters of Casa Asia, where we have presented the report on the evolution of the district and the business opportunities that exist in the Asian continent. The event was directed by Xavier Monzó, president of 22@Network.

First, David Navarro, general director of Casa Asia, explained the task and the activity of the institution in the economic and business environment, such as the Asia Innova program, related to innovation and technological cooperation, or the urban international cooperation programs. Navarro has also explained the business and economic opportunities offered to 22@ organizations for the expansion or relationship with the Asian continent.

Next, Javier Bernades, president of the Urban Commission of 22@Network and Director of Business Space at Cushman & Wakefield, presented the annual report on the evolution of the office market in 22@. The report states that "the 22@ has led again the demand for offices in 2018 in Barcelona" and that this year has registered a new record with 128,000m2 contracted, 14% more than the previous year. 33% of the total area contracted in Barcelona is located at 22@. Finally, Bernades said that "the challenge of the district is to find the balance between talent and cost, and this brings to the table the north zone of 22@, where a lot of work is being done to achieve its development".
