22@AFTERWORK ABOUT ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN FOR REGENERATIVE FUTURES

Last April 25, 22@Network Barcelona, in collaboration with RMIT, organized an afterwork on the terrace of UrbitBCN (C/Bilbao 140-144) to bring together professionals in architecture, design and fashion and present the RMIT University Practice Research programme, a practice-based PhD programme for those professionals.

Isabel Sabadi, Director of the 22@Network Barcelona association first welcomed the 40 participants, explaining briefly the history and evolution of the 22@innovation district. She gave then the word to Martyn Hook, Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor Engagement and Precincts & Partnerships College of Design and Social Context, RMIT University, who explained the RMIT University Practice Research programme. 

Aritz Sáez Aróstegui, Architect and landscape architect FITARQ and Marc Naise, Architect QID STUDIO, in charge of the construction of UrbitBCN, then explained in detail the challenges and advantages of the recent built office building. After a networking session, the participants had the opportunity to make a visited tour of the building.
